Fracking

Not the kind of "frack" from Battlestar Gallactica, but the bad kind, you know, the natural gas kind.

We in the North Fork Valley have been fighting to keep our water and agricultural rights uncorrupted lately, and it seems that our neighboring county has stepped in with a detailed letter explaining why this shouldn't happen.  Thank you Gunnison County Commissioners!

Today was the last day for residents of Delta County to send letters to the BLM stating why we don't want fracking in our county.  Unfortunately, most of these were emotionally driven without specific points, but if you click the like above, you'll read one of the most succinct letters about this I have ever read.
