Now, I don't want to sound all housewifey and all, but........this thing rocks!
Two weeks ago I finally succeeded in murdering my last vacuum, a cheap $50 thing that had, as it's only high tech feature, washable filters and no bags.
Any of you who have been following me for longer than a month know from this post that I have been relatively sure that it was going to kill me.
So, I launched an all out attack, and two weeks ago it went kaput, with smoke coming out the bottom and everything.
So, I started looking around on the webs for a new vacuum, and I knew I was going to have to lay down some cash for a good one with all the features I wanted. Namely, washable filters and no bag. Oh, and it would have to be durable enough to suck up mountains of dog and cat hair and not die of a hairball.
Did you know that if you want a decent vacuum with a good warranty you had better be prepared to spend $300-$600?!
Heart attack.
But, I showed Husband what I was looking at, namely a Dyson ball vac. I have expensive taste. We found out that Dyson makes a ball vac pet version, and my brain started screaming, "I want! I want!"
Then we went camping. I thought nothing more of it until we came back camping. And since Thursday I returned to work, and everything went to hell immediately, I didn't get to think about it much past the, "I need a vacuum soon," point.
When I got home from work that day, there was Husband, putting together the new Dyson Animal Ball vac!
Isn't it beautiful? |
If you have the money, and you want a really good vacuum, I recommend this one! It vacuums like a dream. Now I have more time to prance around in my housedress and pearls, cooking dinner for Husband and fetching his slippers and pipe.
Remember, it's just a ride.
I love our Dyson. It's such a manly vacuum. Or at least I say that to myself so I don't sound like a housewife, vacuuming the carpet all day while the wife works......
ReplyDeleteI'm embarrassed to admit, I really want this vacuum! (I don't even like to clean, but whatevs!)
