To Wax or Not To Wax, That Is the Question.

A weird question, given the company it was brought up in.  Namely at work with my coworkers and our boss, (who is totally awesome).

Not actually sure how it came up, but it did.  And it's funny because I have been mulling over the question and the ouch factor for the past few weeks.

Should I?  Shouldn't I?  If I do, I'll look like a prepubescent kid.  Do I want Husband to be thinking about 12 year olds?!  But Goooooood, it's like a jungle!  Husband needs a machete to get in there!  Like Clan of the Cavewoman!  And then OUCH.....

Yeah, that's pretty much it.  I'm thinking I should, 12 year olds be damned.....

Oh.  And another thing- Day 18 of the 30 Day Challenge- What I like best about each member of my family.  Ok.

Husband
I love that he's terribly fun to be around and likes to just go where the wind will take us.  I also love some things that I probably shouldn't disclose to anyone but him (wink, wink, nudge, nudge- Say no more!)

Oldest
Oldest is terribly smart, and is the only person in our family who at her age really knows what she wants and is going out to get it.

Youngest (and soon to be Son-in-law)

Youngest I love because she has hidden inner strength for the times she needs it- like having a baby!

Grandson
I obviously love him for his ability to eat tables because he brings such joy to all of us!

Now, my family also has a few extra members that aren't full-fledged family, but I consider them family nonetheless:

Future Son in Law 1 and Future Grandaughter
Future son in law 1 has persevered through having a kid and having the mom scag off on them, and that takes guts.  Future Granddaughter has a pretty big imagination, despite her mom.

Future Son in Law 2

The father of my grandson, Future son in law 2 I love because he sticks through with what he decides to do, even if it's hard.  Like being in the Army, which he was for 4 years, in Iraq twice.

And no family thingy would be complete without this guy:

My Dad (in the hat)
My Dad is extremely eccentric, but he is so very smart, it usually blow people away.

Ok.  That's them, and that's why I love them!

Remember, it's just a ride.

  1. Throw down a couple of painkillers and then get ready to raze that forest down to a smooth and supple landing strip.

.....No, I've never waxed down there before and I get freaked out just to think about it.

  2. @Lemons- Yep, I think that's what's needed- an airport! I'll need landing lights for sure!

  3. There's always the option of trimming, you know, a happy medium. And if you're artistic, you can make it into something fun. A heart? A checker board? A big question mark?
