Getting a little jump start on Tuesday

Thought I'd check out this blog hop and see if I could generate some more interest in my blog.

Just so anyone coming through know, I don't have any giveaways, (aw..), I don't do reviews of anything, (psh...I could I guess), and I'm not running a marathon or seeing if I can cook my way through someone's cookbook, (I don't really like to cook... and running?  God forbid.).

What, you ask, do I do?

Well, I guess I just kinda talk about what's going on in my little town, and my life, and I hope I do it with a lot of humor.

So, with that said, I've got an update on the baby backpack, (as shown in the picture from the previous blog...no, wait, not the box.....).

Youngest, Grandbaby, Husband, and I went on a hike to one of our favorite places- the Lost Lakes.  Youngest and I decided that Husband could tote the little one on the up side of the hike, and I would tote him on the down side.

It worked out pretty well, actually.  But dang, he's not light, and adding in a backpack frame is a little heavy- my shoulders were screaming at me when we got back to the car 4 hours later.

Have I mentioned that these "little hikes" we take seem to be 2-3 times longer than we were planning for?

Yeah, we were going to be gone a "couple of hours", and were gone all day!

But it was fun and the Grandbaby loved being in the pack!

Sure would love to show you all pictures, but apparently Blogger won't recognize the new download.  I guess I have something to talk about for Fawk You Friday now.

Remember, it's just a ride.

  3. Good for you. I'm not a big fan of giveaways either. It's like we're in elementary school again... Some people make friends by giving everyone candy, and some people make friends by showing they have a winning personality.
